JZT was founded by three young guys, Jirka, Zdenka and Tom, who have known each other since they were little. They share a love for good food and drink. They first encountered kombucha during their study trips to North America, where it completely captivated them. After returning home, as true foodies, they searched for something similar, but in vain.

Until one day Jirka started making his own homemade kombucha, which was finally comparable to the ones they had the chance to taste behind a big puddle. From that moment on, it was only a few steps before the JZT guys decided to start making kombucha on a large scale one rainy morning while having breakfast in one of Prague's favorite cafes!
